It is the summer of 2015 and Carolyn Fe felt the need to stretch her wings, to reinvent herself and push the envelope once again.

By now, if you visited the website thoroughly, you know that Carolyn Fe is one who loves to challenge herself and go beyond her borders. She is not one to sit back and wait, but is one who initiates and accelerates. As it was in the beginning of her Blues Collective (which is still alive and well), it will all start with Jazz Standards and will surely develop into something quite interesting with some original material.

Her Jazz debut at Montreal’s legendary Upstairs Jazz Bar in 2015 was a hit with a full house. Her true blue fans discovered another side of Carolyn Fe and have been convinced and converted to follow her in a Jazz Mode. It all started with Jazz Standards delivered in a different package. Being new to the Jazz scene, Carolyn Fe studied her choice of songs and then presented the audience with how she made the connection. At times funny, touching and thought provoking but never failing to entertain the capacity filled room with her wit, candor and especially, her voice.
